STEAM JUICER (Stainless Steel)
"Triple-Boiler," comprising a boiling pan, a fruit container and a juice collector, all 3 neatly fitting within each other and topped with a lid. The fruit which is held in the specially shaped perforated basket, is perfused by the steam rising through it from the boiling pan beneath. This steam bursts the cell walls of the fruit and releases the juices, which are carried down, together with the condensed steam, into the third part of the device, the juice collector. The juice by now already sterilized, is drawn off via a rubber pipe line and bottled. The steam extractor i9 also particularly well suited to dealing with dried fruits, which are becoming more and more popular for winemaking. The Extractor size is 9 Liters (approx. 2-1/2 gal.). Use on gas, electric or wood stove.

pH CONTROL PAPERS (Litmus) Consists of a vial of 100 strips of pH control papers. Each vial has its own color chart and instructions. For wine a pH range of 4.0 is usually considered best, however, between 3.0 and 5.0 is considered alright in most cases. A low number indicates high acid content. A high number indicates a low acid content. If only one vial is purchased, we suggest you get the wide range pH papers. This will give you a reasonably accurate reading at a low cost.
If more accuracy is desired, we suggest that you get the complete set of 7 vials. That way you can use the wide range pH papers first to get an approximate pH reading. Then use the narrow range pH papers to get a closer reading.

SIPHON TUBING AND FAUCETS

THESE HANDY SIPIIONS ARE EASY TO USE. JUST BLOW IN THE BLOW TUBE AND IT STARTS. YOUR SIPHON IS HELD IN PLACE BY THE STOPPER, ALLOWING BOTH HANDS FREE TO FILL BOTTLES. Note: The siphon tube curves to the edge of the jug so you can see how far above the sediment the inflow of the siphon is. When the jug starts to get empty you can tip the jug gently as in the illustration, and get all the clear wine off without disturbing the sediment.
